Description

In the middle of Eastern Oregon open terrain, rest a 16,000 square feet of exquisitely detailed home with spectacular views of the Three Sisters.

Structural System:

The main structure is a post and beam package by TIMBERPEG which features exposed custom cut posts and beams joined together with the mortise and tenon system. The lateral resisting elements is plywood shear wall overlay over 2x decking. The building is supported on conventional spread foundations.

Description:

LEED Silver certified residence nested in the hills of Amboy with spectacular views of Mount St Helens. This 3,000 square feet residence features a unique air-to-water system that keeps everything in the house the same temperature, and rainwater-harvesting systems for high-level insulation and environmental protection.

Structural System:

Each building houses 12 units and is of conventional wood construction with pre-manufactured wood trusses supported on load bearing stud walls and deep foundations (driven steel piles). The lateral resisting element is plywood shear walls.
